Spending Alot Of Time Rerolling?
I think that instead of those spots for the example Paladin and Flame Slinger and ext in the pvp slots. You should be allowed to put your OWN characters.

I completly agree on that. Does anyone else wonder when you unlock something for your weapon or a ruin for your armor you have to totaly remake the character? Why cant we select the character we already have and just make the changes needed.

That would save me a HUGE amount of time...I hate having to spend 10 minutes just to add a new weapon upgrade.

Nah. It's already been suggested that PvP players be tweakable, having the likes of a weapons/armor locker to allow for changing things out. This would be much better. Your way still requires deleting the old, etc.
/Not Signed - there are better ways.

Even having 2-3 presets would make such a difference

/signed definitely.
with two-three slots being used for pve, i only have about one slot to make new pvp chars and its a pain having to remake everything only to get rid of it and remake something else a few days later.
on a sidenote......anet should add new premades and revamp the existing ones. multiple updates have rendered some of the skills next to useless in some of those builds, and builds like the fire nuke are scorned and rather bad in pvp. also the pally with restore life.....ppppfffffttt

No, op's idea is better. Minor tweaks are not what most of my rerolls are, they're all out character changes. Making a pvp char fully customizable in game would require additional interface elements, and it would take pretty much as long as rerolling without having to login again. Saving templates would be much faster.

Hope this is not hijacking the thread, but theoretically having an infinite number of PVP slots shouldn't make a difference. And it'll be a whole lot more convenient too.

I agree completely - I play basically one of less than 10 different builds ever in pvp, programming them in and just hitting a button would make making a character for a build take seconds and you are good to go. You should also be able to share the presets with others in some sort of text file, and maybe even be able to sort them, so say your guild plays 3 different builds, you could just select the build you are playing, then the character, and off you go, no waiting around for people to try to make characters and taking 20 minutes.

only problem with this is that you have to save the preset. you are allowed 4 spots for any presets.
the only thing saved on your comp is the maps. everything else is streamed to you on their servers. don't know if it could happen with the way the game is set up.
i love the idea but i just don't know.
